Colon cleansing for health and beauty
Colon Hydrotherapy
We were the first in Greece that were trained in colonic irrigation and we offered the treatment in 1995.
The large intestine, an organ that has not received much attention in the past, is now considered a “second brain” and its proper functioning is a necessary condition for a strong immune system.
Hydrotherapy helps to heal the gut and restore its natural mobility, which over time weakens. In addition, deep cleansing of the gut is achieved, both by the technique itself and by the detoxifying diet that is suggested for some period before and during hydrotherapy.
The combination of detoxification and hydrotherapy is a great solution for digestive and intestinal problems.
Often the intestine is colonized by parasites, which grow due to the increased consumption of sugars, alcohol, white grains and pharmaceutical drugs that adhere to the gut walls. This makes it difficult for the intestine to function properly.
Over time and due to poor defecation, a layer of dirt (dung mucus) is created, which together with the parasites is a source of internal toxicity.
How is hydrotherapy done?
Clear, filtered water is inserted in the large intestine without any medicinal or chemical additives. At the same time, throughout the course of the treatment, abdominal rubbing is very important, both for the best intestinal cleansing and for the person’s good response to the healing process.
The goal of hydrotherapy is to wash the entire colon – not just the cation colon- by removing unnecessary substances from its walls.
We use the closed system of hydrotherapy, all the components that come into contact with the body are disposable, and in the treatment area there are excellent hygiene conditions.
Duration of hydrotherapy: 40-60 minutes.
How many repetitions are needed:
It usually takes 2-7 visits to remove accumulated toxic substances from the gut walls. If the bowel problem is chronic, it may take longer.
The recommended frequency of hydrotherapy is 2-3 times a week and can be adapted to each person’s diet and occupational conditions.
Benefits:
Hydrotherapy effectively removes stagnant impurities, improves nutrient absorption, is an ideal cure for colitis, treats constipation and diarrhea, relieves headaches and allergies due to intestinal toxicities, helps with gastrointestinal irritation hemorrhoids, helps in the treatment of obesity.
It is also an integral part of Andrea Moritz’s liver and bile detoxification and is a preparation for colonoscopy.

MAINTENANCE RULES ENDING HYDROTHERAPY
Continue the probiotics for 15 days. Enrich your diet with fermented foods such as sauerkraut, pickles, miso, kefir, kombucha.
During the day it is advisable to drink plenty of herbal teas from sage, mint, anise, marjoram, fennel, diktam, ginger, mountain tea, green tea. Also use Chios mastic in whatever form you want.
We recommend alternating your type of food every 3-4 days, and seasonally, to avoid allergies and food intolerances
Better not to eat from eight in the evening until ten in the morning (intermittent fasting).
It is a great habit to fast once a week with seasonal fruit or vegetable juices, soup and salad to rest your digestive system. Complete the day of fasting with an enema to maintain the well-being of your gut.
Make sure about 60% of your daily diet consists of raw foods and sprouts of legumes and cereals.
Above all, eat calmly and chew your food slowly and well.
Remember: the amount of food we need daily is inversely proportional to our age.
To facilitate daily emptying, we alternatively use the following:
In the morning, lukewarm water with a little lemon and a tablespoon of olive oil.
- 2-3 kiwi in blender with water.
- Plum juice.
- Plantago ovata (psyllium) fiber
- Flaxseed or flaxseed powder
- Aloe juice
- Oat bran
- Curcuma
- Kefir / sour milk
- Chia
- Fruit pectin
Maintenance:
To maintain the good result of colon hydrotherapy, we repeat it every 4-6 months. When the maintenance rules are properly followed, 1-2 visits is enough. In preparation for maintenance hydrotherapy, a week is preceded by a mashed vegetarian diet in the winter and fruit and nut milk in the hot months of the year.
